MIKE HORNBLOWMike Hornblow is a writer, performer and filmmaker from New Zealand, now living in Melbourne. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film, a Master of Arts in Media Production and is currently undertaking a PhD by Project at SIAL. Mike has produced a diverse range of film, video, multimedia and performance projects in New Zealand, Australia, Europe, Japan and the United States. His research interests involve the intersection of the body and the constructed environment in theory and practice - examining states of embodiment and processes of transformation in terms of affect and emergence. He is particularly concerned with diagrammatic concepts and methods across architecture and performance that inform site-specificity, collaborative practice and art-activism.
