Project Involvement
    the Animal

Martina Mrongovius works with optics and holography to create installations of spatially dynamic imagery. Her current masters research (by project) explores how holographic images can be used to express the shape of relationships in imagined and perceived scenes.

As well as working in the RMIT holography lab Martina creates holograms with The Center for Holographic Arts (New York) and The Academy of Media Arts (Cologne).

Martina has an honours degree in Applied Physics (majoring in holographic image projection)and teaches a variety of physics at RMIT. As well as her academic research Martina collaborates on projects within the arts.
