EUREKA | Prototype n-Dimensional Presentation Environments

EUREKA Environments

EUREKA at MoMA: Eureka is featured in the Design and Elastic Mind Exhibition at New York's Museum of Modern Art, curated by Paola Antonelli. Feb 24 - May 2008.

Eureka is an innovative presentation environment that allows users to navigate spatial collections of multimedia assets.

In turn Eureka enables new narratives to emerge as users can shift seamlessly - mid presentation - between different compositions of imagery. This ability is especially valuable during group discussion and question time, and is counter to the traditional paradigm of presentation software: the linear sequence of the slideshow.

Eureka allows a user to organize content, navigate and simultaneously alter the composition of a presentation through a dynamic spatial interface.

Eureka as a software prototype operates on general specification computers, laptops and touch screen displays.

Eureka was developed in conjunction with Professor Mark Burry and Professor Lin Padgham, chief investigators of an Australia Research Council Grant 2003-2005, exploring the visualization of complex systems.
