In the Interacting with the City workshop cluster in Smart Geometry 2011, the champions and participants collaborated in designing visual representations and tangible interactive prototypes for supporting collaborative decision making processes in urban design and planning.

Cluster Champions: Przemek Jaworski (Jawor Design), Flora Salim (SIAL, RMIT), Martin Kaftan (TU Graz)

In four days, six installations were produced and exhibited in Smart Geometry 2011 Conference, Copenhagen. The installations include world-first multidimensional tangible table prototypes for 3D freeform modelling using Kinect and urban simulation with live real-world data feedback from Google, Yahoo, weather stations, and Twitter to inform the collaborative design process.
